Welcome to ISS at Leonardo
Working together in Partnership
An introduction from Terry Dolan and Mark Paton
ISS has been awarded the new pan-UK contract with Leonardo.
Under the new pan-UK contract, ISS will deliver integrated FM to Leonardo UK across all Electronics, Cyber and Helicopters sites, and will commence IFM delivery at the Yeovil, Yeovilton & 1 Eagle Place sites from 1 August 2026.
We are extremely excited to have secured the new long-term pan-UK contract.
You and the team delivering services are critical to its success so your role may transfer to ISS for the new contract.
Your current employer will have confirmed this with you.
We were pleased to hold town hall sessions to introduce ISS on Tuesday 12th May.
If you missed the sessions, you can see the slides here.
Next Steps
-
We have been undertaking 121 sessions with all colleagues transferring to ISS. These are individual sessions with an ISS representative to capture information to ensure the transfer to ISS is as smooth as possible. Please bring your Bank Account details and Proof of Identity Documents to your 121 so that we can carry out the Right to Work checks and pay you once you transfer to ISS – see exactly what to bring here.
-
Please also look out for an an email from Screening@securitywatchdog.org.uk. The email will enable you to complete the enhanced security checks required by ISS and Leonardo. It's important that you complete this before you transfer to ISS on 1 August. There is more information and guidance available here
Vetting to commence Friday 12 June
Please note that the Yeovil BPSS security vetting process will be initiated on Friday 12 June. The local Yeovil Security team are prepped and ready to support. Once initiated, all individuals will receive SMS and email prompts directly with instructions on how to apply. We would ask for this process to be completed within 5 days of the prompt being received so that the Vetting process can be managed in a timely manner. If anyone needs additional help or support to complete this process, please do make use of the drop-in facility we have put in place. Russell Pye (Senior Project Manager) will base himself from the Site Facilities Office in Building 259 at site on the below dates. Should anyone wish to make contact with Russell directly, please utilise your employee representative who will provide contact details accordingly.

Queries about your personal circumstances
The TUPE process and rules of engagement remain in place until you officially transfer to ISS so communication is restricted until then. If you have any personal questions you would like to ask, we will register these in your 121 meeting and come back to you. Alternative, you can email the ISS People & Culture TUPE team on LeonardoTUPE@uk.issworld.com.
We are looking forward to meeting you all properly and working together on the future partnership from 1st August.
